All transfer schedules and travelling times are subject to weather and road conditions. White Pearl Resorts reserves the right to amend transfer methods if the booked transfers are not available due to unforeseen circumstances; where necessary, the resort will provide guests with a refund equivalent to the nett of the original transfer booked and the amended transfer. We recommend that guests take out comprehensive travel insurance, as White Pearl Resorts will not be held liable for any payment for alternative accommodation due to inclement weather conditions or any other causes out of our control.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
It is the responsibility of the guest, not the Resort, to ensure that all international travel requirements are met upon travelling to the resort. Passports, visas and documentation should be available for presentation throughout travel, arrival and departure. Tourism visas for all nationalities can be obtained at all major ports of entry (applicable to White Pearl Resorts: Kosi Bay, Maputo International Airport, Komatipoort). Please ensure that you are familiar with the visa requirements pertaining to payment and documentation before you arrive.

Road transfers are available from Maputo to White Pearl Resorts. The journey from Maputo to the resort currently takes approximately 90 minutes, the new road and bridge are now open. Guests using this transfer option can meet our representative at our White Pearl Airport kiosk at Maputo International Airport

Road transfers are available from Kosi Bay Border to White Pearl Resorts. The journey from Kosi Bay Border to the resort takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Set your eyes upon the Mozambican culture and beautiful landscape – the local markets and rich coastal bio-diversity. Arrive at White Pearl Resorts to the warm hospitality of our staff and enjoy your time in paradise. at Maputo International Airport.
Secure parking at the border is available at approximately $6.00 per vehicle per day (subject to change) on a cash-only basis. Scheduled departure times from Kosi Bay border are: 10h00 or 15h00 (Guests from the KMIA to Kosi Bay flight will connect onto the 15h00 road transfer). Max 15 minutes waiting time for late arrivals. Unscheduled trips will be charged at $80 per person per way. Luggage allowance of 20kg (soft bag) per person for the Kosi Bay road transfer.
SKY TRANSFERS
Helicopter Transfer
White Pearl Resorts offers a helicopter sky transfer service from Maputo International Airport. Fly over remote dune bush and beautiful coastal scenery as well as the Maputo Elephant Reserve on your journey to the Resort. The journey between the airport and White Pearl Resorts takes approximately 30 minutes.
Please note that the helicopter can take a maximum capacity of 5 adults. Should a booked party exceed the maximum capacity, an additional helicopter will be utilised. White Pearl Resorts accepts a minimum of 2 guests for sky transfers. Out-of-schedule helicopter flights will be considered private charters and will be charged at $1950 per helicopter per way. These charters need to be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

LUGGAGE
Helicopter
The allowance for luggage on the helicopter is a maximum of 12kg (soft bag) per person. In order to comply with helicopter regulations, soft bags are available at our airport booth at no additional cost to decant contents of hard bags. Storage facilities for excess luggage are available at no additional cost. An additional charge of $180 per vehicle, per way will apply to guests who wish to take excess luggage to the Resort by road. Excess luggage transfers must be pre-arranged at time of booking
Fixed-wing: KMIA To Maputo International Airport (MPM)
The allowance for luggage on the fixed-wing flight is 20kg (soft bag) per person. Should guests be entering by means of the fixed-wing flight from KMIA to Maputo National Airport and wish to exit utilising the helicopter transfer, the 12 kg (soft bag) per person luggage restriction will apply. An additional charge of $180 per vehicle, per way will apply to guests who wish to take excess luggage to the Resort by road. Excess luggage transfers must be pre-arranged at time of booking.
SELF DRIVE
Drive through striking panoramas and remote villages directly to White Pearl Resorts, from the Kosi Bay border post or Maputo. Road conditions vary and are dependent on the weather. We recommend that you use a 4×4 vehicle with high clearance to successfully navigate your way to the Resort.
