Jump into our boat and search for water-based wildlife further afield. Hippo and crocodile are often seen on these adventures, along with many bird species.

Seasonal fishing with a limited supply of basic equipment is on offer, on a catch-and-release basis.

The mix of habitat ensures a variety of birdlife can be seen, from endangered wattled crane and rare lesser jacana on the eastern side to Meyer’s parrot and Dickinson’s kestrel in the west.
A Stellar Experience
Our beautiful hide located near camp is an elevated platform from which to enjoy the passing game. At night the hide is transformed into a Star Bed that offers a thrilling wilderness sleep-out experience.

Watch the local female leopard on a hunt near camp…lie back in a traditional mokoro as hippos and crocs make an appearance in the serpentine channels…see the spectacle of countless varieties of birds, perhaps a fish-eagle soaring overhead, a Verreaux’s eagle-owl tending her owlet, or a lilac-breasted roller flashing its brightly feathered wings. On game drives and bush walks, encounter lions, elephants, buffalos, spotted hyaenas, African wild dogs, and various plains game. Enjoy seasonal catch-and-release fishing and boating excursions. Spend a memorable night in the camp’s hide, converted at night to a Star Bed, blanketed by the heavens.
Little Tubu is a 35 minute flight from Maun airport and a 1 hour 30 minute flight from Kasane airport. It is around a 10 minutes drive from the airstrip to the camp.
