Little Mombo
Watch a buffalo herd many hundreds-strong as it migrates between islands. Keep a lookout for African wild dogs, a privileged sighting, and for leopards staking their territories. You’ll probably also meet our resident elephant, often seen around the island devouring fruit dropped by the African mangosteen trees. Sit back for a magical glide through the channels on a mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, or quicken the pace on a boating adventure; with luck, you’ll find the floating bar, or sundowner set-ups on Phi-Phi or Shumba Island. Float high above the floodplains in a hot-air balloon, for a bird’s-eye view of paradise.
The camp can only be accessed by light aircraft into the nearby airstrip, which has daily flight connections with all other camps in Okavango, Linyanti, the main airport at Maun (for connections to Central Kalahari, Nxai, Makgadikgadi and Johannesburg) and north to Kasane (for connections to Livingstone and Victoria .

Day 1
You will be met upon arrival and transferred by light aircraft to Chitabe Lediba in the Chitabe Concession. This camp is an intimate destination for small groups and families.
Five canvas tented-style rooms are built on raised decks with luxurious and tasteful interiors. There are two family units, one (for older children) with an adjoining front deck and the other (for youngsters) with an adjoining corridor; each family room has its own en-suite facilities.
The main area and pool enjoy glorious views over the surrounding floodplains where a variety of game comes to drink during the day.

Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, night drives and nature walks.
