Kwetsani’s five luxurious, en-suite ‘treehouse’ rooms – beautifully crafted in canvas, wood, and glass, each with a stylishly furnished bedroom and lounge – offer expansive views over the floodplains. The raised dining room, lounge, bar, and spacious outside terraces also have sweeping vistas, and catch the breezes off the water. A plunge pool edged with loungers invites sunny afternoon siestas.
Located in the centre of the Okavango Delta’s stunning Jao Reserve, Kwetsani rests on an elongated island covered with palm, mangosteen, and fig trees. The surrounding floodplains are home to a number of ‘Delta specials’ – species found in few other places on Earth.

Revel in all the Okavango Delta has to offer, with both land- and water-based game viewing. Explore the wetlands by boat or traditional mokoro, where hippos and crocs dwell, where red lechwes and rare sitatungas leap across the channels. Elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, tsessebe, and zebras abound. On night drives, water levels permitting, you might spot genets, servals, aardwolves, porcupines, and bushbabies. Among the rich and varied bird life, look for Pel’s fishing-owls, slaty egrets, wattled cranes, African skimmers, and probably many other ‘lifers’. See the Delta in all its splendour from the air, as you helicopter over its serpentine waters.
Kwetsani is an approximately 35 minute flight from Maun and 1 hr 25 flight to Kasane. It is a 35 minute drive or boat trip from the airstrip to the camp. In high waters (usually April - September) guests are boated To/From camp (can take up to an hour).
