Linyanti Tented Camp, available for families and small groups, is the ideal location for those wishing to experience the wildlife-rich Linyanti Concession in privacy.
Unrivalled in its remoteness and sense of space, the camp overlooks the iconic marsh and floodplains with its four large, airy and en-suite tents designed to recreate the style of the early explorers. Built on a slightly raised deck with impressive views, the camp’s main area is the perfect place from which to watch the passing parade of wildlife and for convivial relaxation. Evenings are spent around the crackling fire under the stars or in the traditional boma.
Linyanti Tented Camp works closely with local government bodies to ensure the conservation of wildlife in the area through dedicated research focused on IUCN Red List species such as the African wild dog, elephant, lion and roan antelope.
Camp Linyanti is located deep in the north-western corner of the Chobe National Park, on the river-border between Botswana and Namibia. One of the celebrated features of this camp is its private location, its own wilderness situated away from the seasonal crowds of the Chobe River.

The only way to visit the Linyanti Concession is by charter plane. Wilderness Safaris, which runs the camps in the reserve, includes flights in its package. You can fly from either Maun or Kasane (or other camps in Botswana).
Maun Airport (MUB) or Kasane Airport (BBK) are the entry points into the country for most visitors on their way to Linyanti, although this is dependent on their itinerary.
To access the reaching floodplains of the Linyanti, guests will be flown to the local airstrip about 90 minutes' to 2 hours' drive from Camp Linyanti. Saile airstrip is located in Chobe National Park and receives light air transfers from both Kasane and Maun airports, which are 40-50 minute flights away.
At Saile airstrip, guests will meet with a representative from Camp Linyanti who will then drive them to last leg to the camp itself. This drive will be nothing short of enjoyable as it traverses through the Chobe National Park and into the Linyanti on roads that wind their way through wildlife territory.
