Built high on a hilltop, the luxurious Tshukudu Bush Lodge offers sweeping views of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park. Offering six luxury cottages and four luxury suites, attention to detail and personalised service is guaranteed
To reach the cottages, guests are required to climb 132 steps which makes the area inaccessible to the physically challenged. For any guests who may have special dietary requirements, please notify reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
Tshukudu is renowned for its tranquility and superb personalised service. Children under the age of 12 years are therefore not allowed. The lodge facilities do not include radios, telephones or TV’s, however cellphone
signals can sometimes be received.

6 Luxury Cottages
One queen size bed, open plan lounge with fireplace, sunken bath, shower over bath, fully-stocked mini-bar, magazines, as well as plug points, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities, a safety deposit box and a balcony overlooking the savannah and waterhole.
4 Tshukudu Suites
Each spacious suite has all of Tshukudu’s finest touches as standard, including an extra length king bed and metal stand-alone fire place. Luxurious baths overlooking the plains remain an integral feature of the bathroom and romantic experience. The new suites also include a private plunge pool on their secluded decks, an outdoor shower and twin vanities.

Please note that guest vehicles are parked in protected bays at Bakubung Bush
Lodge. There is one transfer daily to Tshukudu from Bakubung at 14h00. No private vehicles are permitted at Tshukudu Bush Lodge.

Rock plunge pool
Nestled in the centre of the lodge is an intimate and quiet plunge pool with umbrellas, pool towels and a barman on standby.
Perfect for a refreshing dip after a morning game drive or a peaceful nap in the afternoon.
Drinks are on call, so make yourself at home in the lazy sanctuary of the pool area The Deck
Take some time out to relax on the outside couch, with a drink in hand, and 180 degree view of the Pilanesberg.
Weather permitting, breakfast and high tea will be served in the lounge.

Bush dinner
Amidst the quiet hills, about 2km from theLodge lies our enchanting boma. Guests are seated around the fire, where they can enjoy the African bush and night sky.
Soup is served, followed by a plated starter and traditional South African braai (barbecue) buffet. The meal ends with a plated dessert and choice of cheeses.

Game drives
The Pilanesberg National Park is home to the “Big 5”. Join our highly trained and experienced field guides, on two adventures per day, in seeking out game as well as indigenous flora and fauna.
After a delicious high tea, guests are taken on a game drive. Bush walks can be arranged at an extra expense through Bakubung Bush Lodge.
Bird watching
Calling all keen birders - birding around the lodge and while on a game drive, can be extremely rewarding.
Swimming
Have an afternoon dip in our plunge pool to keep cool during the heat of the day, or simply enjoy a very relaxing time around the pool with a drink in hand.

Transfers between Sun City and Tshukudu are complimentary. Transfers between Pilanesberg Airport and Tshukudu can be arranged and are charged per person per transfer
