The intimate Fitzpatrick’s Lodge is stylishly appointed to offer the ultimate private villa experience, accommodating small groups and families on an exclusive-use basis. The villa comes complete with its own staff compliment and dedicated ranger with a private game viewing vehicle, offering guided game drives twice daily to explore the 6,000 hectare private concession, which is known for its exhilarating Big 5 sightings and other interesting game encounters.
Perched on the banks of the Mitomeni (Shangaan for ‘Jackalberry Tree’) riverbed, Fitzpatrick’s boasts spacious indoor and outdoor living and dining areas that make the most of the magnificent wilderness setting. It comes with a private boma and swimming pool with sun loungers overlooking the riverbed and the bush beyond, with frequent sightings of elephants and other animals passing by. Each of the three luxurious suites has a private deck, while two also come with small plunge pools. The en-suite bathrooms extend onto the private decks with outdoor showers and baths that offer unforgettable nocturnal soaks under the stars.
Fitzpatrick’s at Jock is child-friendly, and an exciting Kids on Safari programme is available. The camp is safely fenced and various educational and recreational wildlife activities are offered. The villa is equipped with a TV room, and childminding services are available
This area is renowned for its sightings of the Big Five with large herds of Buffalo and many prides of Lion. Endangered White Rhino are also often encountered on game drives. The Lodge is situated halfway between the Malelane Gate and Skukuza, and if you are driving yourself to the lodge, you need to ensure that you give yourself plenty of time, as private vehicles are not permitted on park roads after hours.

Directions to this lodge using the Malelane Gate from Johannesburg
Take the N12 to Witbank which will become the N4 Follow the N4 all the way to Nelspruit Pass through Nelspruit and continue towards Malelane About 2km (1.2 miles) before Malelane follow the signs to the Malelane Gate to the Kruger National Park Once you have entered the park and paid a fee, continue straight on the H3 road for 37km (23 miles) Turn Left at the “Jock Safari Lodge” sign Travel 3km (1.8 miles) and you are at Jocks Lodge You will park here and be taken to Fitzpatrick Lodge at Jock

Road Transfers and self drives
• Transfers to and from Skukuza Airport can be arranged with reservations on request at an additional cost. Transfers between Jock Safari Lodge and Skukuza are done by Jock Safari Lodge the main lodge to Fitzpatrick in an open game viewing vehicle.
• Terms and Conditions relating to road transfers apply, and are available on request/as addendum to this document.
• All road transfers are handled by accredited car hire and charter companies.
• All transfers must be arranged prior to arrival.
• Self-drive and road transfers from Kruger Mpumalanga Airport (KMIA/MQP) are subject to Kruger National Park gate times.
o The Kruger National park prohibits the use of roads within the park once the gates are closed therefore guests need to be at their destination and transfer companies must be outside the park by the time the gates close.
Flights
Jock Safari Lodge is approximately one (1) hour from the Malelane Gate and therefore we recommend that flights to / from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA/MQP) are booked to:
? arrive at KMIA/MQP no later than 14h30 on day of arrival
? depart from KMIA/MQP no earlier than 10h00 on day of departure
o No alternative arrangements can be made.

Entering Kruger National Park
The camp is situated half way between Skukuza and Malelane gates approximately 29 km in both directions with only 3 km of dirt road. Due to the rules and regulations of the Kruger National Park, nobody is allowed on any Kruger National Park roads during the period of gates being closed. Therefore, guests must be at their destination by the time the gates close.

A once-off fee is payable in cash upon entering the Kruger National Park. Please ensure to have your accommodation confirmation at hand to ensure entry at the correct price. •Villa Rates are quoted and invoiced in South African Rand (ZAR), inclusive of: 2 daily game drives, guided
wilderness walks, all meals, a selection of house beverages, game drives beverages, 15% VAT and
Tourism levy for up to 6
oThe rates exclude the Kruger National Park conservation levy, premium beverages, discretional gratuities
and all items of a personal nature.
•Fitzpatrick’s at Jock can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults (2 x adults per bedroom) and an
additional 4 children between the ages of 0- 11 years by means of additional bunk beds.
•Additional children exceeding the 6 persons inclusion will incur the child supplementary rate as specified
