Situated 140 km south of Nairobi, Amboseli National Park is the second most popular national park in Kenya. Kibo Safari Camp is only a 4 hours’ drive away from Nairobi city and with the newly built tarmac road from Emali to Loitoktok, you are sure to get here comfortably. It is 15 km away from the Amboseli airstrip and a five minutes’ drive from the park gate. The ideal location of the camp ensures you get breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kibo Safari Camp has 73 self-contained tents. The beds have been custom designed and locally made using bush logs and will ensure a good night’s sleep! There are several routes to Kibo Safari Camp:

Emali Route (a 4-hour drive from Nairobi):

Proceed on MOMBASA ROAD A109 to EMALI TOWN
From EMALI TOWN turn right on to C102 going towards OLOITOKTOK.
Continue for 114km on C102 to KIMANA TOWN (please note: passing through the Eremito gate incurs park entry fees).
After KIMANA TOWN turn right on to C103 going to KIMANA GATE, AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
Continue on C103 for 22km.
Once at KWS KIMANA GATE turn left and drive for 1.5 km. KIBO is on the left-hand side.
